When Billy sat down to write songs after the MCIS tour, he decided to try a new method of writing songs. He kidnapped three chimpanzees from a local zoo, and sat them alone in a room, each with their own typewriter. These monkeys were trained to type away at the keyboard and give the product to Billy, who would compensate their efforts with cigarettes. Subsequently, Billy passed off the random words from the monkeys as his own. The End Is The Beginning Is The End was born.A friend of mine helped me kidnap one of these three monkeys. I keep it alone in a room with a computer keyboard that is connected to my web server, so everyone can watch as he gives us a preview of the lyrics to "Adore".
